Privacy First Architecture

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026 • Effective immediately

1. Our Core Privacy Commitment

At UTENIQ ("Useful Tools for Everyday Needs, Information & Quick Solutions"), we believe web tools should serve you without extracting your personal data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers.

You are never required to create an account, provide an email address, or link third-party social profiles to access our utilities.

2. Local-Storage First Data

Whenever you customize settings—such as stopwatch color presets, audio volume preferences, lap split history, or custom streamer brand logos—that information is stored exclusively in your device's browser local storage (window.localStorage).

  • Custom uploaded images (such as creator logos) are encoded locally as Base64 strings on your device and are never uploaded to any remote server.
  • Lap records and timing sessions remain strictly in your browser session.
  • You retain complete control: clearing your browser history or site data permanently wipes all locally stored preferences.

3. Information Automatically Collected

When you visit uteniq.com, standard, non-identifying server logs may temporarily record diagnostic technical data to ensure website security, uptime, and performance. This includes:

  • Browser type, operating system version, and general screen resolution.
  • Referrer URL and date/time of site requests.
  • Aggregated, anonymized page view statistics.

These logs cannot be used to personally identify you and are automatically recycled in routine log rotation.

4. Cookies and Tracking

UTENIQ does not deploy advertising cookies, cross-site tracker pixels, fingerprinting scripts, or third-party behavioral analytics. We only use browser storage for your explicit functional preferences (such as light/dark theme selection).

5. External Assets & Third-Party Fonts

To maintain high-precision Apple-grade typography and icons, we utilize modern web fonts served through Google Fonts. Font requests transmit standard HTTP headers required to serve the vector glyphs, without tracking cookies.

6. Contacting Us Regarding Privacy
